Press Release

Builders Talk Group and Build:It podcast have come together to launch a competition to find which is the best trade. Each trade, from chippies to tilers, sparks to brickies all think they are the best out of everyone! To settle this debate, Andy, who is an award winning builder and broadcaster, from the Build:It podcast will chat with a different trade on his podcast each week. He will be asking questions including their funniest stories on site, details on their apprenticeship, their skillsets and many more. His weekly feature Builder’s ballache, where his guests can have a good old-fashioned moan about something that has wound them up, will be paramount in gaining votes from listeners.

Starting 12th September and then every Sunday from 5pm, the Build:It podcast will be available across all podcast providers or can be found at www.podfollow.com/buildit. Trade Off will feature a different trade until all have been covered. The hugely successful Facebook group BTG, will post it on their page and website allowing their members to interact, discuss and comment on each trade’s efforts! After the last podcast, there will be a poll on the BTG Facebook group for everyone to vote on which they think is the best trade. The winner will receive a trophy as well as a £500 cash prize from the show’s sponsor Wienerberger. The emphasis is on fun and humour as this will be a welcome distraction from the stresses facing trades in the construction industry at the moment.
