Marshalltown Permaflex…..How Does it Compare to other Flex Trowels?
Trowels, we all have our favourite brands, sizes and types. Kevin Rudgley has always been a Nela fan so we asked him to have a go with the Marshalltown Permaflex Extra Light. What did he think? Will he be buying Marshalltown from now on? Watch his review and find out……
The Marshalltown Permaflex has clearly impressed Kevin with it’s lightness and comfortable Durasoft handle, let’s face it, comfort is the key when you’re trowelling up all day and Marshalltown have always produced amazing trowels, the Permaflex has the following features;
- Highest grade ultra flexible stainless steel blade
- Xtralite aluminium alloy mounting
- Flatter Blade
- Upper plate fastened with stainless steel rivets
- 10% lighter than other flexible trowels
- Rounded Corners
- Thin 0.3mm blade for durable flexibility
- Comfortable DuraSoft grip
- Made in the USA
So there you go, that’s what Kev thinks of the Marshalltown Permaflex, have you tried one yet? Let us know in the comments below which trowel you use, or if there is one you want to know about we will do our best to get one on here!
Nice reveiw Kev, i havent got a Marshalltown permaflex and always fancied one and your review has made my mind up it will be the next trowel on my purchase list. Thanks
Thanks for the great review Kevin – glad you liked the trowel. There’s a lot of trowel choice out there, which is great for pro plasterers looking to find the trowel that suits their plastering style best.
I had used the Marshalltown but then purchased the ox flex and I can’t really feel any different apart from aesthetics.
I think the ox is about half the price also.
